I am passionate about storytelling, and this passion extends into my personal interests. Under my freelance company, I produced multiple award-winning independent films and a television pilot.

The Process:

Working with producing and writing partners, I developed the story and script for each film. We cast talent, developed a production schedule, devised a budget, and acquired funding.

Green Eyes for Anastice was a self-funded feature film I directed early in my career. TREE and The Wintress were two short films on which I received investor funding and saw an increase in production value.

The Patron, a proof-of-concept television series pilot, was a SAG-AFTRA union shoot with actors Katherine Banks (of Netflix’s Mindhunter) and Jeff Garretson (Nightlights, Chicago Fire).

Results:

Praised by independent film reviewers, the films toured film festivals around the country, winning multiple awards including Best Film. TREE premiered at the Cannes Short Film Festival. The TV pilot “The Patron” was available on Amazon Prime streaming service.
